About the event
Our next Pathfinders themed learning block is The Romans, with 7 hands-on sessions exploring everything from the Roman army and engineering to everyday life, archaeology and the arrival of the Romans in Britain.
This won't be seven weeks of worksheets! 😆 Each session will combine history with practical activities, challenges, experiments and things to make and investigate.
Across the block, we’ll explore topics such as:
⚔️ Roman soldiers, armour and military tactics
🏛️ Roman buildings, roads and incredible engineering
🏺 Archaeology and what objects can tell us about the past
