Your generosity has the power to transform lives. Every donation helps us reduce isolation and bridge the gap between people with learning disabilities and the wider community.
With your support, we can continue to provide vital resources, opportunities, and safe inclusive spaces for young people to learn, grow, and thrive.
Together, we’re building a community

with Learning Difficulties to
Inspire, Empower and Employ
We’re building more than just a space. We’re creating a flagship inclusive centre where young people with learning difficulties are not only supported — they’re leading the way.
This will be a place shaped by their voices and lived experiences, designed to offer:
-
✅ Practical life and employment skills
-
✅ Sensory-aware spaces for wellbeing and creativity
-
✅ A community that feels like home
-
✅ Real opportunities to grow, belong, and thrive
Help us turn this vision into a reality — for, with, and led by the young people who need it most.

Volunteer with Us
Do you have a few hours to spare each week? Are you looking for new experiences, friendship and lots of laughter? This is what you will discover when you volunteer with us. Not only will you be helping to change lives, inspire young minds, and build lasting connections within your community, you will be at the heart of it as well. At Pathfinders Cymru, we’re always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us deliver a wide range of services—from running our community library and digital tech hub to supporting gardening projects, play sessions, and more. Whether you're a student, a professional, or retired, there's a place for you in our team.
Share Your Talents: Enrich the Next Generation
Do you have a skill or passion that you’d love to share? Our Share Your Talent initiative is the perfect opportunity to pass on your knowledge to the younger generation. Whether it's sewing, woodwork, gardening, photography, model trains, or something completely different, your talents can spark curiosity and creativity in our youth.
Help them grow in ways that go beyond books and screens—teach them practical, life-enriching skills in a welcoming, hands-on environment.
By volunteering, you'll be creating a bridge between generations, helping to pass on the knowledge that builds stronger communities.
A Space for Everyone
Volunteering at Pathfinders Cymru is so much more than just helping with the library. We need gardeners, gaming enthusiasts, admin support, and cataloguers to keep our community thriving. Whether you're interested in running play sessions, gaming clubs, or helping out during school holidays, there’s a role where your time and talents can make a meaningful impact.
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with everything from managing resources and organising events to helping children with activities. You don’t need to have previous experience—just a willingness to help and a passion for making a difference.
Calling All Students: Build Your Skills, Boost Your Future
Are you a student applying for university or looking for practical experience? Volunteering with Pathfinders Cymru gives you the chance to develop real-world skills while supporting your local community. Whether it’s organising events, playing games, or helping with admin tasks, you’ll gain valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and communication that will look great on your CV or university application.
Plus, you’ll be making a positive impact, helping to create a vibrant space where people of all ages can come together to learn, grow, and have fun.
