About the Event

Pathfinders Cymru invites you to embark on an exciting and magical journey of foraging, folklore, and creative crafting! This is a unique opportunity for children and young people to explore nature in a hands-on way, discover local legends, and create their own natural products.

What’s Included?

  • Session 1-3: We will visit different locations around Neath Port Talbot, foraging for wild ingredients to make inks, dyes, salves, and herbal teas. As we explore, we’ll dive into local folklore, share ghostly tales, and learn about the poisonous plants in our surroundings.

  • Session 4: At Ystalyfera Community Hall, we’ll gather all the foraged ingredients to create extra creations from the treasures you’ve collected—more crafts and concoctions from nature’s bounty!

Dates:

  • Session 1-3: Various local locations around Neath Port Talbot (TBC each week)
