Skill Development and Training Opportunities

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Local Co-ordinator Partnership
We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with a local Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Co-ordinator who shares our values and is passionate about making this life-changing opportunity more inclusive. Together, we’re creating a flexible, accessible route to the DofE Award — designed especially for young people who may struggle to complete it through school or traditional education settings.
We’re particularly keen to support:
-
Home educated young people who may feel excluded from mainstream provision
-
Those with disabilities or additional needs
-
Young people experiencing social anxiety, EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance), or other barriers to formal education
Our approach is gentle, supportive, and built around real interests and abilities — not just ticking boxes. If you'd like to be kept in the loop as we launch, we’d love to hear from you.
Our Next Induction Day is Wednesday 2nd July at 1pm.
Anyone who will turn 14 by August 31st 2026 are the youngest age eligible to participate this time round up to the age of 25 years.

Young Enterprise x Pathfinders Cymru – Creativity Meets Business
We’re teaming up with Young Enterprise to deliver exciting, creative enterprise sessions for young people — helping them explore business ideas, grow confidence, and develop essential life skills for the future. But this isn’t your average business workshop. It’s youth-led, inclusive, and full of imagination.
Our sessions blend creativity, collaboration and real-world skills in a way that’s practical, accessible, and fun. Whether it’s designing a product, building a brand, or pitching a big idea, young people will get hands-on experience in bringing their vision to life.
This programme is perfect for:
-
KS3 & KS4 learners
-
Creative thinkers and team players
-
Young people who learn best by doing, not just listening
-
DoE Skill Development
✨ Expect purpose, play, and practical skills all in one.
📅 Coming later this year
We will be starting a group September 2025 to end of May 2026. Running on Fridays 3.30pm to 4.40pm. Please register interest below

Neurodivergence Training – Real Insight, Real Change
We’re proud to launch training that’s by neurodivergent people for the real-world settings where it’s most needed — education, family life, and the workplace.
Led by experienced educators with lived experience of autism, ADHD, PDA and more, our sessions bring deep understanding and practical tools to support inclusion and wellbeing for neurodivergent individuals.
We offer:
-
INSET training for schools (primary, secondary & APs)
-
Workshops for businesses & 3rd sector teams
-
Parent & carer sessions focused on home life, school collaboration, and improving everyday challenges
This isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s tailored, empathetic training designed to shift perspectives, build confidence, and unite everyone on the same page — working together to support better outcomes, stronger mental health, and real belonging.
