AQA Unit Award Scheme

We’re proud to be a registered centre for the AQA Unit Award Scheme – a nationally recognised programme that celebrates achievement in a wide range of skills and subjects.

By becoming an AQA member through Pathfinders Cymru, your child can:

  • Earn nationally recognised certificates for completing short, achievable units in topics from science and arts to life skills and more.

  • Work at their own pace — units can be completed in person at our sessions or through distance learning.

  • Build a portfolio of achievement to showcase skills, boost confidence, and support future education or employment.

  • Access a growing library of work packs designed to meet different interests, abilities, and learning styles.

  • Take part in hands-on activities — many of our STEM, Arts Award, and life skills sessions link directly to AQA units.

Annual Membership: £35 per child
Includes registration with AQA, administration, and your child’s first 4 unit certificates. Additional units can be added for £5 each.

Once you’ve joined, we’ll issue you with a unique Learner ID. Keep this safe, as it links all your child’s units and certificates for future reference.
