Learners will:
Discover the Titanic's design, who it was made for and why the way the ship was built was so important.
Investigate the key figures involved in the disaster and consider who was really to blame.
Piece together a timeline of events on the night the Titanic made its' fateful voyage.
Analyse real historical sources, and use these to form their own opinions.
Compare cruise experiences in 1912 and today and consider what we have learned as a result of the disaster.
 
With film clips, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities to think like a historian, this unit makes history come alive – iceberg not included.
